Edanos Winery is a third-generation, family-run organic estate located in the high-altitude village of Kalamia in Aigialeia, Achaia, within the northern Peloponnese region of Greece. It's situated where the Aigialeian mountains slope down toward the Gulf of Corinth, benefiting from the high altitude (almost 3,000 ft!), cool mountain breezes and limestone and clay-gravel soils. The Cu 14 orange wine is skin contact Roditis - the Cu is the symbol for copper and the 14 references the length of time of skin contact. Fun small world fact - the label was designed by Jen's friend, Carol King, not to be confused with the singer ;) This 100% Roditis is matured in both stainless and clay amphorae a rounded texture to this delicious savory and saline wine.
